I thought I'd make a blog because I probably can't write a book. Besides in 2013 writing a blog makes you sound as smart as if Pearson himself had published you--especially if you write one that's informational.

But I have a bad habit of starting things and never coming back to them so just in case I do, here are the thoughts that spawned this project:

How to Get a Job by Ben Smith (Pseudonyms are fun!)
How to Get a Job by Being Someone (Else!)
How to Get a Job by Being Stupid (The original idea)
How to Get a Job by Bringing Snacks (Can eating during the interview help your chances?)
How to Get a Job by Being Spontaneous (Half of these are all about being memorable and throwing off their game)
How to Get a Job by Buying Stocks (I dunno, it has BS in it, be fun to get a job because you own the company)
How to Get a Job by Being Selfish (I couldn't think of one that meant having Big Standards)
How to Get a Job by Big Spending (A classic but worth noting)
How to Get a Job by Boring Smalltalk (The casual way we already try to network, collection of pointers)

I think that's all the BS I can think of at the onset of this blog.... maybe one day I'll actually write an entry... but for now I can say Blog Started!
